WWB Update 03-06 to 03-09 “Education is important but fishing is importanter” Hi Ladies, Hard to Believe there are only 2 Days left in the tournament. We caught a few fish the last couple of days and hopefully the last two days will bring in some record changers. Denise Mattiesen caught a Beautiful 33” Keeper on 03-09-19 that setup a tie for first place “Biggest Fish” Way to Go Denise.  Just goes to show they are still out there. WWB Update 03-03 to 03-05 “Water is the most essential element of life, because without water you cannot go fishing.” Hey ladies, the fish are still biting and we are catching a lot of fish, but no one can seem to get anything bigger than 33″. WWB Update 03-02 “Procrastifishing, The art of going fishing, when you should be doing something else!” Another day, another 17 fish in the boat!  Mother nature has been cooperating with the fishing boats and they are bringing home the bacon. It feels like spring outside and you couldn’t pick a better time to be out on the Salmon River. WWB Update 02-27 & 03-01 “Fishing Is Like Sex, When it’s Great, It’s Great, and When It’s Bad, It’s Still Great.” The fishing keeps getting better and better. The Girls are catching fish like there’s no tomorrow. All the boats are on the Salmon River and the river is clearing. All the catch records are in and these Girls are on Fire. On March 1st we had 3 boats go out and the girls landed 20 fish… WAY TO GO LADIES… Judy Bauer still holds “1st place biggest fish”, but we now have a new “1st Place Most fish” Tie, Rhonda Kingrey and Ginnie Nicholson both caught 3  fish totaling 22″ hatchery inches. WWB Update 02-26 “I know I fish like a Girl, Try to keep up” Wow, It is amazing how quick the fishing can change. The Ladies caught the most fish in one day since the tournament started. Now that all of our boats are back on the Salmon River and the water is clearing, the fish are starting to bite. Check out our numbers for today, 5 keepers and 3 wild fish for a total of 8 fish. WWB Update 02-21 to 02-25 “The fishing is always better on the other side of the River” Ladies, we are happy to report that all of our boats are back on the Salmon River and things are looking up. Temperatures have dropped a bit and the waters are beginning to clear. Yesterday we saw more fish activity and the guides are optimistic about the next few days. WWB Update 02-19 to 02-20 “Size doesn’t matter, unless you’re in the WWB Tournament” We are still fighting the river and weather conditions but we do have some boats up river now.  Michelle Jarrard caught nice 30″ Steelhead up the main salmon on the 19th. WWB Update 02-12 to 02-18 “Work is for people who don’t know how to fish” WWB 2017 moves forward, despite the many challenges Mother Nature has presented. We have slight progress to report, as our first boat finally hit the waters at Vinegar on Feb 18th. A big shout out the patient ladies who helped us break ice and fished in the few holes that are not dominated by ice. We will continue to break ice and hopefully open up more of our fishing territory to accommodate additional boats. WWB Update 02-08 to 02-11 “Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.!” The water conditions on the Snake River remain stable and clear.  The Water on the Salmon River has come up but it did not move out enough Ice to allow us to get on the river yet. We are continuing to monitor the  river conditions and will be getting the boats on it as soon as possible.  As soon as we can get the boats safely in the waters of the Salmon, we will be able to break ice and get our poles in the water.   Over the past four days, our ladies have worked hard to get fish in the boat and as always, they didn’t …
