We just had our first trip out for the Fall Steelhead Fishing Season on the Salmon River. We took a small group of guys out from Eastern Idaho/Utah. It was a very cold morning but the sun came out and warmed the air and it was a beautiful day on the Salmon River. And, yes, we were able to catch some steelhead. Was a little slow going but caught some wild fish and a hatchery that our fisherman released oafter couple quick snaps. More steelhead are showing up so we’re anticipating a little more catching in the coming days on the Salmon, River of No Return.
