Well, we had to tow over to Hells Canyon, all boats did! Too much ice on the Salmon and the river level dropped from the cold too. Because, dang! It got Brrr!!
Thursday, 2/24
We did have some steelhead luck in Hells today, and some great sunshine!
Susie Finney’s group fished with Brian and Paul with 2 lucky ladies landing some steelhead. Carol Styles with a 23: hatchery and Vonna Donovan with a 23.5 incher!

Over on Sam and Justin’s boat. Carrie Homburg’s boat with Sama Kominek reeled in a pretty wild steelhead. They caught a bunch of trash fish too!

Charisse Forsyth’s boat also had some steelhead luck with Rich and Colt. Charisse caught a wild and so did Britta Boyer. Becky Swenson also reeled in a hatchery!
Friday 2/25
Connie’s group with Brian and Tommy had beginner fisher gal, Leighann Belnap with the beginners luck catching a 23.75″ hatchery steelhead! Also, some trash fish fun.

Kristin Bishop with Stephanie Reay’s crew landed a 23.75″ hatchery fish on Rich and Paul’s boat. Manorak Riding with Chelle Heffington’s group also reeled in a hatchery fish with Rusty and Colt..

The steelhead bite shut down for everyone today. But there was still some other fish and fun times caught!

Another slow day for the steelhead but there were some other fish caught.
Gina Gonzales fishing with Rich and Brian did get lucky and landed a 23 incher! Nice job lady! They also just had themselves

Monday 2/28
Only 2 boats out today and Jaymie Hoyle on Babette Monroe’s The B-Crazys boat caught a 22.25″ hatchery steeslhead.
We also brought the boats back over the hill to try for some fishing on he Salmon, still a lot of ice upriver but we are hoping to stay low and rattle this leaderboard 😉
